About this scholarship
Canadian domestic undergraduate Hospitality and Tourism Management students at Toronto Metropolitan University with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 and leadership experience, plus an interest in hotel-management research, may apply to work as a research assistant in the Institute for Hospitality and Tourism Research.
One $10,000 fellowship is paid in three installments. The recipient must commit to work 16 hours a week in the Institute in the Fall and Winter terms of the following year. Applicants submit a resume and a 500-word essay on their interest in hospitality and tourism (especially hotel management) and past leadership experience.
William Pattison founded Delta Hotels Ltd. in 1962 and served as president and CEO until 1988.
