Willard G. Henry Memorial Scholarship in Mechanical Engineering

Queen's University students registered in the fourth year of the Materials Option in Mechanical Engineering may receive this scholarship, awarded on scholarship, character, industry, and contribution to student well-being. On occasion it may go to an exceptional third-year student in the same program. The amount varies.

No application is required. The Head of Mechanical and Materials Engineering recommends the recipient in the fall after consulting departmental colleagues and students.

Established by family, friends, colleagues, and students of the late Dr. Willard Geldard Henry, Professor of Metallurgical Engineering from 1962 to 1981 and Head of Department from 1977 to 1981.
