About this scholarship
Undergraduate students who have completed junior or senior year in science, engineering, or marine policy fields with an interest in ocean sciences may apply for a 10 to 12 week summer research fellowship at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.
Fellows receive a $721 weekly stipend, up to $720 in travel allowance, and on-site housing while conducting a research project with a sponsor. Up to 30 fellowships may be awarded.
Applications are accepted from early December through early February. Persons from underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.
