Whitaker Foundation Art Scholarship

Undergraduate U.S. citizens or legal residents at least 18 years old with a minimum 3.0 GPA at an accredited U.S. institution may apply. Eligible majors include fine art with watercolor emphasis, illustration with watercolor emphasis, art history, and museum studies.

Three scholarships of $2,000 are awarded annually. Bachelor of fine art and illustration applicants submit two original watercolor paintings; art history and museum studies applicants submit a 500- to 750-word essay demonstrating knowledge of the Whitakers' works.

The Frederic Whitaker and Eileen Monaghan Whitaker Foundation supports students pursuing careers in art and museum-related fields.
