West Fraser Scholarships in Forestry

Students in the UBC Faculty of Forestry may be nominated for West Fraser Timber scholarships.

Scholarships total $14,450. One award goes to a graduate student in Advanced Wood Processing, and three awards go to undergraduates entering second, third, or fourth year who have a particular interest in Industrial Forest Management. Individual award amounts vary.

Awards are made on the recommendation of the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry and, for graduate students, in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate Studies. There is no separate student application.
