About this scholarship

Queen's University full-time Honours Biology students with financial need and academic excellence. Preference is given to students planning to reside at the Queen's University Biological Station (QUBS) to pursue field and laboratory research in aquatic biology. Successful candidates must agree to use about 80% of the award toward the cost of attending and residing at QUBS.

Amount varies.

Application forms are available from the Department of Biology and are due February 15. Selection is made by the Office of the University Registrar, Student Awards, in consultation with the Department of Biology.

Established with donations from former research assistants, Curran family members, friends, and colleagues in honour of Wes and Dorletta Curran. Dr. Curran was an outstanding teacher and the founding Director of QUBS.
