About this scholarship
Graduating Osgoode JD students who incurred significant educational debt to pursue legal education, demonstrated a commitment to public-interest social justice work (through academic, work, or volunteer experience), and intend to pursue a social-justice career. Recipients must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons, and Ontario residents.
Amount varies. Requires a separate application through the Financial Services Office.
The award was created by classmates of Wendy Babcock after she passed away just before her final year, to carry forward her commitment to social justice.
