About this scholarship

High school seniors in the Wenatchee Valley who are youth bowlers, participate in high school bowling programs, or are family members of WVUSBC members may apply through the Community Foundation of North Central Washington.

Award amounts and recipient counts vary each year. Renewal requires reapplication.

Applications open January 1 and are due March 1. The Opal Wickland Scholarship was established by the Wenatchee Women's Bowling Association to help youth bowlers pursue college, honoring top bowler Opal Wickland.
