WCREPA Aspiring Teacher Scholarship

Graduates of or current students from Washington County, Maryland public schools who aspire to become certified teachers and are enrolled in a teacher-certification program at an institution of higher learning may apply.

Scholarships of $1,000 are paid in two $500 semester installments. Applicants need a minimum 2.5 GPA. The number of recipients varies each year.

Submit the application online or by mail with a college admission letter, a personal eligibility letter, transcript, and two recommendation letters. Finalists may be interviewed.
