Waukegan Park District Memorial Endowment Fund Scholarship

Students who live within Waukegan Park District boundaries in Illinois and plan to attend college or trade school may apply. Applicants should pursue park and recreation related fields such as accounting, business, carpentry, communications, environmental science, horticulture, therapeutic recreation, or tourism. Current or former district employees or volunteers are encouraged to apply.

The district awards five scholarships of $1,000 each from its Memorial Endowment Fund.

Submit a transcript, resume, a personal essay on your parks and recreation experience, and one letter of recommendation.
