Warren George Povey Award in Global Health

UBC Vancouver graduate students in any discipline who are dedicated to working on global health issues may be considered through the Spring Graduate Awards competition.

Awards are endowed from a fund; amounts vary.

The awards are made in consultation with the School of Population and Public Health and on the recommendation of the College for Interdisciplinary Studies and the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

The awards honour Dr. Warren George Povey, a pioneering scholar in global health who taught on every continent over more than 50 years and pioneered the International Health course at UBC.
