About this scholarship

Canadian citizens who are residents of Canada and who are registered or about to begin doctoral studies in Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science at a participating university (including the University of Toronto) may apply. Permanent residents are ineligible. Preference goes to those born in Nova Scotia, then other Atlantic provinces. Applicants must hold a degree from a Canadian university other than the one where they will hold the fellowship; bachelor's-only applicants need at least two years of teaching or industry experience in the field. Up to 40 fellowships are awarded nationally, approximately $8,000 for one year (value may vary at the Foundation's discretion).

Submit the application form, proof of citizenship, transcripts, and referee forms to your graduate unit by its internal deadline.
