W. T. Pound Engineering Design Award

Queen's University third-year Mechanical Engineering students who complete MECH 323 and MECH 324 (Design I and Design II) and demonstrate exceptional understanding of machine design principles and an outstanding aptitude for creative, innovative design are automatically considered.

One award is given; the amount varies. No separate application is required.

Established in memory of William Thomas Pound, who graduated from Queen's in Mechanical Engineering in 1929.
