About this scholarship
Sons, daughters, or legally adopted children of IAFF-member firefighters killed in the line of duty who plan to attend a university, accredited college, or other higher-learning institution in the United States or Canada may apply. Awards consider financial need, aptitude, and academic achievement.
The scholarship is $2,500 per year and renewable for up to four years with annual reapplication. Typical materials include an approximately 200-word statement and two recommendation letters. Submit by postmark or email by February 1.
