Virginia Arts Festival Model NATO Challenge

High school students in good standing from the coastal area of southeastern Virginia may apply for the Virginia Arts Festival Model NATO Challenge scholarship competition. Previous Model NATO Challenge scholarship winners are not eligible.

Three scholarships of $2,500, $1,500, and $1,000 are paid directly to the recipient's college. Top applicants participate in a mock NATO crisis simulation at Virginia Wesleyan University with mentor officers from member nations.

Submit an application, teacher or counselor recommendation, and essay by the deadline. Selected student diplomats represent NATO member nations during the challenge event.
