Viola Desmond Student Bursary

For current full-time or part-time TMU undergraduate, graduate, or continuing education students who self-identify as Black women or gender-diverse Black people, demonstrate financial need, hold a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher in good academic standing, and serve as positive role models and advocates within Black communities.

The bursary is $1,000.

Nomination requires a reference letter speaking to the nominee's contributions to Black communities. Candidates cannot submit until references are complete.
