Vera R. Campbell Promise Scholarship

Undergraduate students or recent graduates from higher education institutions in Los Angeles County, California may apply for the Vera R. Campbell Promise Scholarship to help cover costs of an IFR field school. Priority goes to first-generation college students with demonstrated financial need.

Up to nine awards of up to $5,000 each cover field school costs, including travel. Recipients also receive one-on-one mentorship with IFR Academic Board members or staff. Applicants need a minimum 2.7 GPA, must be at least 18 by the field school start, and must be accepted into an IFR field school.

Submit the scholarship application with a recommender contact, unofficial transcript, financial need documentation, and essay responses. Apply separately to your chosen IFR field school.
