Venceremos Award sponsored by the Canadian Hispanic Bar Association, Lincoln Alexander Chapter

First-year Juris Doctor students at Toronto Metropolitan University's Lincoln Alexander School of Law who self-identify as Latinx, have demonstrated leadership in the community, academics, and/or extracurriculars, and demonstrate financial need may apply. Anyone who identifies as Latinx is eligible.

The award amount varies. Apply through Toronto Metropolitan University's AwardSpring site.

Created by the Canadian Hispanic Bar Association, Lincoln Alexander Chapter (formerly LALSA). "Venceremos" means "we will overcome" in Spanish and Portuguese, a nod to barriers the Latinx community continues to face in the legal field.
