About this scholarship

Lutheran students actively engaged in leadership roles in their districts, synods, or Lutheran high schools may apply for the Valparaiso University Lutheran Leader Award. Two full-tuition scholarships are awarded to finalists; other finalists receive a renewable recognition scholarship for up to four years.

Submit a completed admissions application with all required materials and recommendations from Lutheran denominational leaders. Students are notified by the Office of Church Relations. The program recognizes Lutheran students who demonstrate leadership in their faith communities.
