About this scholarship
Virginia residents who are high school seniors, technical school seniors, or college undergraduates pursuing an aviation-related career at an accredited Virginia institution may apply for the VABA Aviation Scholarship of $2,000. Applicants need a 3.0 GPA in their last full year of study.
Submit a completed application, a 250- to 500-word double-spaced essay on why you wish to pursue an aviation career or why aviation matters to Virginia, two letters of recommendation (preferably including one from the aviation industry), and proof of acceptance or good standing in an aviation program. Additional consideration goes to VABA members and their families.
