About this scholarship
High school seniors who are sons or daughters of an active Utility Workers Union of America member may enter during the scholarship year that matches their graduation year.
In non-convention years, one $2,000 award is drawn per region across five regions. In National Convention years, one $10,000 national award is drawn instead. Selection is by blind drawing from eligible entry forms submitted to the National Union. Payment requires proof of acceptance and attendance at a university, college, trade school, or similar program.
