About this scholarship
Undergraduate or graduate students enrolled full-time in an accredited landscape horticulture program or related discipline at a California state university or college may apply for the Usrey Family Scholarship. Applicants need a minimum 2.7 major GPA and must maintain full-time enrollment during the award period.
Award amounts and the number of recipients vary. Preference goes to students who plan to work in the horticulture industry after graduation, including nursery operation, landscape design or construction, interiorscape, horticultural distribution, or retail garden centers.
Susie and Bruce Usrey of Monrovia Growers established this scholarship in 2001 through the Horticultural Research Institute.
