About this scholarship
Students at UBC Vancouver who are investigating toxic chemicals and pollutants, with particular emphasis on their effects on human health, are eligible for this bursary, awarded on the recommendation of the School of Population and Public Health.
The bursary is valued at $1,400.
Students who have recently completed research or studies in this field should apply in writing by October 1 to the Director of the M.Sc. in Occupational and Environmental Hygiene in the School of Population and Public Health, including a copy of a recent paper on the relevant topics or a description of current studies.
The bursary is funded through an endowment established by the Urea Formaldehyde Foam Insulation Action Association, a group of concerned homeowners who had UFFI installed in their homes.
