About this scholarship

Open to Osgoode Hall Law School students who have completed at least one year of study, maintained a minimum GPA of 6.0, and demonstrate financial need. The award recognizes commitment to volunteering with women's focused legal aid organizations, women's social justice issues, or other areas of activism related to women.

Applicants submit a one-page statement summarizing participation in extracurricular activities and/or the community and outlining how they hope to continue contributing to legal aid organizations, women's social justice issues, or related activism in Canada after graduation. The award amount varies.

The University Women's Club of North York, with family support, established the award in memory of Lee Robertson, who graduated from University Law School in 1948 and often helped the Club with her legal skills and knowledge.
