University of Waterloo Staff Association Award

Full- or part-time University of Waterloo undergraduate or graduate students in a degree program who are current UWSA members, or the child, spouse, grandchild, or dependent of a current Staff Association member, may receive this award. Applicants need a minimum 70% cumulative average and demonstrated extracurricular or volunteer involvement. Financial need may be considered. Awards are $1,000 for recipients with a tuition benefit of 50% or less (or no tuition benefit), and $500 for those with a 100% tuition benefit.

Apply annually by the November deadline. Recipients may re-apply in later years, though preference goes to candidates who have not previously received the award.
