About this scholarship
Exceptional high school seniors applying as fall first-year students to the University of Miami are automatically considered for the Isaac Bashevis Singer Scholarship. Selected candidates are invited to submit an essay for finalist review.
Singer Scholars receive full undergraduate tuition for four years. Recipients must enroll full time (at least 12 credit hours each fall and spring, and at least 24 per academic year) and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA for the academic year. The number of recipients varies. Recipients are notified at admission and may receive only one merit scholarship from Undergraduate Admission.
