University of Kentucky Presidential Scholarship

Incoming first-time freshmen at the University of Kentucky who apply with all supporting documents by December 1 are considered for the Presidential Scholarship. Kentucky residents receive full in-state tuition per year; non-residents receive full out-of-state tuition per year.

This is a competitive, renewable award for four years. Traditional criteria include at least a 3.5 GPA with a 31 ACT or 1390 SAT, though UK also weighs unweighted high school GPA heavily. Test-optional applicants with a 4.0 GPA are considered.

Recipients must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA and full-time enrollment. No separate scholarship application beyond the admission application is required.
