Out-of-state and international first-year students admitted to the University of Georgia with strong academic records are automatically evaluated during the admissions cycle.
The Classic Scholarship provides a renewable waiver of tuition equal to half the difference between in-state and out-of-state or international costs. Recipients must maintain full-time enrollment and a 3.0 cumulative UGA GPA. Awards renew for up to eight semesters.
Scholarship decisions are usually finalized by early April. No separate application is required.
