University of Chicago Odyssey Scholarship

University of Chicago College students from lower-income families or who are first in their families to attend college may be named Odyssey Scholars. You must apply for need-based financial aid to be considered.

Odyssey packages use loan-free University grant aid to meet demonstrated need. Scholars also receive enhanced support such as additional funding for study abroad and health insurance, plus access to the Odyssey Internship Program for funded summer opportunities. Federal student loans remain available, though borrowing is not expected.

Complete Chicago's need-based financial aid application and required documentation. Engage with Career Advancement and meet with a career adviser to qualify for the Odyssey Internship Program.
