University of BC Undergraduate Scholarship in Environmental Sciences

For full-time third- and fourth-year undergraduate students at UBC Vancouver undertaking studies in environmental issues. Eligible studies may be carried out in the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Science, or the Faculty of Applied Science, including any component of the geosphere, biosphere, hydrosphere, or atmosphere and the influence of human activity on the environment. Candidates must have demonstrated academic excellence and a firm commitment to environmental issues.

Scholarships were endowed by Dr. Robert Gilbert. Per-recipient amounts vary. Awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Science, with no separate student application.
