University of Alabama In-State Merit Scholarships

First-time Alabama-resident freshmen admitted to the University of Alabama are automatically considered for tiered in-state merit scholarships.

Award amounts vary, ranging from partial awards to full tuition based on GPA and ACT or SAT scores. A competitive admissions scholarship up to full tuition is also available.

Submit your admission application and official high school transcript by your entry-term deadline for priority consideration. Notifications are sent approximately two weeks after admission.
