University Challenge Scholarship

University of Victoria undergraduate students who meet in-course scholarship eligibility (including credit and graded-unit requirements from the prior academic year) may be considered for the University Challenge Scholarship based on outstanding service to the university and/or community plus high academic standing.

One or more scholarships totaling up to $650 are awarded from funds won on the CTV program University Challenge by Victoria teams. Apply through UVic's online in-course scholarship application, open February 15 to April 30.

The fund was started in 1971 by a Victoria team coached by Professor Alfred Loft.
