About this scholarship
Grandchildren of deceased U.S. Navy or Coast Guard Chief, Senior Chief, or Master Chief Petty Officers (E7 through E9) who are high school seniors or undergraduates accepted to or enrolled at an accredited college, university, or trade school may apply.
One to three awards of $5,000 are granted annually based on academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, and character.
Submit online or by mail with proof of grandparent service, a 200 to 500 word personal statement, two references, and supporting documents by April 1.

- Attachment D: Scholarships received (amount and duration)
- Two letters of recommendation (at least one non-academic reference)
