About this scholarship

Students entering first year at any public university in British Columbia and proceeding toward a degree in any field are eligible if they are the son, daughter, grandchild, or legal dependent of a United Association of Plumbers & Steamfitters, Local 170 member in good standing. A letter from the Local confirming good standing must accompany the application.

Two affiliation scholarships of $2,500 each are administered through UBC (award #4798) and may be held at UBC Vancouver, UBC Okanagan, or another public BC university. The union may withhold an award if standing is not high enough or if the student receives other major awards.
