About this scholarship
Medical students underrepresented in medicine applying to UAMS's four-week Intensive Emergency Medicine Elective may receive a travel and living stipend.
Awards of $1,000 are available with varying numbers each cycle. Applicants must be enrolled at an LCME-accredited medical school or an AOA-accredited osteopathic school and have completed core clinical rotations.
Complete the VSLO application, the UAMS EM URiM scholarship form, and a one-page letter of intent. The first application round is due June 1.
