Eligibility
About this scholarship
For forcibly displaced students who have received an offer of admission to an OSAP-eligible undergraduate or graduate program at McMaster and who demonstrate financial need. Amount varies. Supports transition through tuition adjustments, bursary funding, and connections to campus resources. Funding is limited and need-based; an application does not guarantee support. This listing is for the January-entry cycle.
Prepare documentation on academic history, displacement or risk, and financial need. Incoming undergraduates apply through AwardSpring; incoming graduates use the graduate SARB form. Priority consideration goes to research-based graduate programs and undergraduate programs with standard tuition structures.
Created in 2022 to help students rebuild academic pathways after displacement due to conflict, persecution, terrorism, human rights violations, climate crises, natural disasters, or related circumstances.
