About this scholarship
Domestic and permanent-resident high school applicants to Simon Fraser University Fall undergraduate admission who demonstrate excellence in academics and extracurriculars, with a minimum average of 90% or 31 IB points (excluding bonus points) in courses required for the primary program.
Domestic Undergraduate Scholars Entrance Scholarships range from $20,000 to $60,000, paid over eight installments. One USES application considers applicants for the suite of named domestic awards. International applicants are considered separately for the International USES.
The application asks for up to five activities or achievements, a 500-word essay, and two referees. Supporting documents are due after the application deadline. Recipients also receive residence offer priority and front-of-the-line course enrolment for the duration of the scholarship.
