About this scholarship

Fredericton campus undergraduate or graduate students with demonstrated talent in varsity men's hockey are eligible for the UNB Hockey Nationals Legacy Award. Continuing students need a 2.0 GPA, and high school entrants need an 80% average, per U SPORTS regulations. Transfer students and students enrolled in at least 9 credit hours may also be considered.

The award value varies and is not to exceed tuition and compulsory fees for one year. The university selects recipients on the recommendation of the Director of Athletics.

Funding comes from proceeds of the CIS Men's National Hockey Championship hosted by UNB in 2002-03 and 2003-04.
