About this scholarship

Canadian citizens and permanent residents entering Simon Fraser University who face significant financial barriers to post-secondary education. The program reserves places for students who identify as Indigenous, Black or a person of colour, living with a disability, or LGBTQIA2S+, and is open to students of all gender identities who meet the financial-barrier intent.

Ten scholarships are awarded each year. Value is $140,000 over eight full-time terms and covers tuition, fees, books, housing, and related expenses, plus orientation, mentorship, advising, and leadership programming. Application is required for Fall entry.
