About this scholarship

Native American students enrolled at least half-time in an approved post-secondary program who live in Placer, Nevada, Yuba, Sutter, Sacramento, or El Dorado counties in California may apply. Applicants need a minimum 2.5 GPA and proof of enrollment in a federally recognized tribe or proof of ancestry.

Award amounts vary. Apply through the United Auburn Indian Community scholarship portal with an official transcript, a recommendation letter, and a two-page personal essay. The program is offered by the United Auburn Indian Community (Miwok and Maidu), based at the historic Auburn Rancheria in Auburn, California.
