About this scholarship
Children, stepchildren, or grandchildren of active, deceased, or retired USW Local 2251 members may apply for U.S.W. Local 2251 Scholarships in Recognition of Marie Kelly, Jeff Mcleod and Doug Olthius. If there are not enough eligible applicants, consideration may extend to descendants of Algoma Steel employees, then to Sault Ste. Marie area residents.
Ten scholarships of $1,000 are offered annually. A separate application form is available in the spring.
