Tzu Chi USA Scholarship

College-bound high school seniors and continuing undergraduate students who were prior Tzu Chi scholarship recipients in selected U.S. regions may apply for this need-based award from the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation.

Each award is $1,500 for full-time enrollment at an accredited U.S. college. Selection weighs financial need, academic achievement, and community involvement.

High school applicants submit FAFSA or tax documentation and one community recommendation. Continuing scholars need a 3.0 GPA and proof of 50 volunteer hours with Tzu Chi or another nonprofit during the current academic year.
