Tuum Est China Graduate Fellowship

Outstanding PhD students whose research relates to China in modern history, current affairs, policies, economics, finance, government, governance, culture, society, law, or issues affecting the global role of modern-day China may be considered for this fellowship.

Fellowships totalling $32,000 per year are available from an endowment. Drawing inspiration from UBC's motto Tuum Est (It is yours), the award encourages critical exploration of China from diverse viewpoints. The Centre for Chinese Research recommends fellows in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
