About this scholarship
Houston-area high school seniors who are U.S. legal residents, reside in the Houston DMA or surrounding Univision-signal counties, have a 2.5 or higher GPA, and meet University of Houston-Downtown admission criteria may apply for the Tu Futuro Scholarship from Univision Houston and UHD.
One student per year receives a full-tuition scholarship. Apply to UHD via Apply Texas, submit FAFSA or TASFA, and write a 500-word essay on how a college scholarship will help you positively impact your community. Applicants should be bilingual in Spanish and English.

- Submit an admission application to University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) via the Freshman Portal
