About this scholarship
Idaho residents who graduated from Emmett High School within the last seven years and enroll full time (at least 14 credits) at Boise State University, Idaho State University, Lewis-Clark State College, or the University of Idaho may apply through Scholarship Idaho.
Awards are $2,500 per academic year, renewable for up to five years of undergraduate study and two years of graduate study.
Applicants need a minimum 2.6 GPA, demonstrated financial need (FAFSA due by February 15), an essay, and two recommendations. Recipients are selected based on academic merit, integrity, and financial need.
The scholarship was established by bequest from the estate of Alene M. Swindle.
