About this scholarship
Enrolled members of federally recognized tribes or Alaska Native Corporations pursuing natural resources, forestry, or wildland fire management through the Intertribal Timber Council may apply. Preference goes to students whose degree involves forest resource management.
Tiered awards reach up to $4,000 for forestry or fire management at the college or graduate level, up to $3,000 for natural resources at the college or graduate level, and up to $2,000 for high school seniors.
Submit a letter of application, resume, three references, tribal enrollment documentation, official transcripts, and FAFSA Student Aid Report. Incomplete applications are not considered.

- Transcripts and GPA: all students must include unofficial or official transcripts; high school students must also provide a college acceptance letter and class schedule; college students must provide
- FAFSA: all students must complete the FAFSA and include the Submission Summary (or last year's report if not yet completed)
