About this scholarship
High school seniors or current college students at accredited U.S. institutions with a minimum 2.5 GPA pursuing culinary arts, baking and pastry, hospitality management, or food science agriculture may apply. Three named scholarships of up to $10,000 each are awarded; amounts vary by recipient.
Submit a resume, transcript, one recommendation, financial need documentation (current students), and a video (maximum three minutes) by May 15 at 11:59 p.m. CST.
The Trotter Project invests in future leaders in foodservice and hospitality through mentorship and scholarship funding.

- Transcript showing cumulative weighted or unweighted GPA
- One letter of recommendation discussing academic performance and/or character
- Essay on the applicant's personal story, passion, and potential in an eligible field
- Video of no more than three minutes addressing pursuit of excellence, eligible-field interest, passion, and creativity
- Financial-need documentation or remaining-balance documentation for current college students
- Complete the full online application form
- Submit a resume highlighting community service, jobs, and internships
- Upload a transcript showing cumulative GPA (weighted or unweighted)
- Provide one letter of recommendation discussing academic performance and/or character
- Current college students must include documentation of remaining balance or financial need
- Submit a video (maximum three minutes) expressing your pursuit of excellence, your interest in the eligible fields, and your passion and creativity
- Financial-need documentation is specifically required from current college students.
