About this scholarship
Students enrolled in accredited schools in Northern California (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, or Sonoma counties) pursuing lighting-related studies in architecture, engineering, interior design, theater, broadcasting, or related fields may apply.
Awards range from $1,000 to $5,000 for students at trade schools, community colleges, undergraduate programs, or graduate programs with a lighting-related focus.
Submit a statement of purpose, academic transcripts, and at least three recommendation letters, including one from a lighting professional or academic advisor.
The scholarship honors Tom Tolen and supports the next generation of lighting professionals.
