About this scholarship

Current Yale undergraduate or graduate students may apply, with priority for undergraduates on financial aid. Applicants must be of Asian ethnic heritage and demonstrate financial need.

The Association of Asian American Yale Alumni, through the Asian Pacific Fund, administers the Tina E. Yeh Community Service Fellowship. Fellows work about 10 weeks during the summer at a U.S. nonprofit serving Asian American communities and receive a $7,500 grant paid to the host organization.

Submit a resume, two 250- to 500-word essays, and a FAFSA submission summary. Host organizations may include approved 501(c)(3) nonprofits such as SWOP Minneapolis or Advancing Justice AAJC.
