About this scholarship
Full-time students in an occupational or public health and safety related program at a Southwest or Central-West Ontario college or university may receive this $3,000 scholarship (1 available). Eligible fields include occupational safety, health, and hygiene; occupational or physical therapy; nursing; medicine; emergency services; and related areas.
Submit by February 28 to jjackson@london.ca a combined PDF with a cover letter, resume, confirmation of enrollment, a 300 to 500-word essay or proposal on promoting occupational or public health and safety, and two written references (one from your institution and one character reference who is not a relative).
The scholarship is sponsored by the City of London and CUPE Locals 101 and 107 in memory of Tim Hickman, a City of London arena employee who died on the job in 1996.
